![]() The Touchpoint Folio Rack The RackThe “Folio Rack” is a matrix of high quality prints. The rack is comprised of multiple columns and rows of “Folios”. A Folio is a sales tool generated by an artist to display their work. The size of each folio is a 5½ by 8½ folio sheet with the artwork on the front and relevant copy about the artist on the back. In all instances the artists work directly with Touchpoint Folios™ to provide images and copy. We create the layout, print the folio, and then ship it to the host location. The Host burden is to maintain the rack, monitor the supply and reorder when necessary. The artist is expected to pay the layout and printing cost. Host "tag lines" can be added to the back of the folios displayed at the host location for a small fee. At times an advertisement tagline will be added to defray printing cost if column is expected to be larger than the artist wishes to pay. As a rack host you will not be required to participate in the layout creation. In fact the layout is modular so the individual artist collection, or a show collection, or a seasonal collection can be compiled with relative ease from the folio library. ![]() Folio Sponsor Example Tag Line Art on DisplayBeing a Rack Host is an excellent way for artist to let prospective buyers know about a piece of art or body of work. Indirectly it is a show of support for the visual art community. It says something about the business. There are two categories of host, those that sell art directly, i.e an Art gallery, and those that merely want to promote Art for the sake of quality of life, i.e. coffee shop. The opportunity to display a Touchpoint Folios™ rack in your in your place of business should be evaluated with your customer in mind. The Touchpoint Folios™ can be viewed as something similar to a magazine rack only much more specific. As a practical matter we would subscribe to receive the Touchpoint Folios™ from local artist at your location. This means that if you’re proposed location does not support allot of foot traffic, you may find artists are less inclined to support that location. Contrary a gallery may want a exclusive library of artist in the rack. As a rule of thumb most artists like the exposure. If you are a gallery this may be ideal to keep the foot traffic in your establishment interested. The folios are generally worthy of hanging and thus serve as a reminder to stop back. If you are a non gallery you can show your support for the visual arts by directly help many artists get noticed with a very small footprint or wall space. The rack will take the space of about 2 paintings Your customers appreciate ArtThe rack displays are tastefully done with deference to the placement location. Reasons why you may place a rack in your place of business may be to keep customers occupied. If you have a queue for services rendered at your establishment, it may be that you have already placed magazines in the space to keep them occupied.
