I want my signature on the cover, how do I get it to you?

If you want to make it simple order a signature kit that has the paper and pen and a self adressed return envelop.   We wll mail it out today!

If you want to create your own scan or hard copy signature for the cover here are some guidelines for doing so.  We do all the work of putting it n the Key Chain Folio™, you just need to capture the signaure and send it to us.

All you need to remember is that we will do all the image editing and resizing just provided us with a black and white representation of it.  You should get a standard size piece of paper (8.5 by 11 inches).   Try to use a thick black Sharpie® marker pen to create the signature with thick black lines.  Create about 4 signatures.  Each signature should take about a ¼ of the page.   Put a check mark by the signature you want us to use.  Be sure to use white paper, a good quality paper such as gloss gives the best results because the Sharpie® marker smoothly passes over the surface for good clean contrast.

If you have a scanner you can scan you signature.  Please set you scanner for 300 dpi save the file as a jpeg.  Once you have a scanned version you can upload the signature image along with the rest of your images for Key Chain Folios™ to your image upload account, or you can send it to us via email.  Please email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it along with your name and order information.

If you do not have a scanner, you can go to FedEx Kinkos® and ask them to scan it.  Please remember to tell them to set their scanner for 300 dpi and save the file as a jpeg. They can then give you the image on a CD.   Like above, please email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

All hard copy should be mailed to (sorry no faxes right now due to quality issues):

The law says the "author" is the owner of the copyright. The author of a photo or image is usually the person who took the picture or created the image. If you took the photo for personal use and not for the use of an employer, you own the copyright. If a professional photographer took the photo for you, then he or she owns the copyright. If that photographer is an employee of a studio or other person in the business of making photos, then his or her employer is considered the author.

The original photographer/studio owns the copyright in any photograph, unless the images were licensed or the rights sold. The copyright owner of a photograph is entitled to control the production of any copies of the applicable image. However, sometimes a photographer or studio may give you permission to make copies. If that is the case, have your photographer fill out our Consent Form and we will fulfill your order.  Go Back To Top

I am the creator of the photos and I did not copyright them. Do I need to?

The moment you create an image, it is protected by copyright. You don't have to register the work with the Copyright Office or display a copyright symbol or statement in order to maintain a copyright on the work. Go Back To Top
